MARAHUYO is a literary Tagalog word that means to be induced, persuaded, attracted, or enchanted, and Marahuyo at Paraiso Roberto provides just that – an off-grid, private and secluded sanctuary that offers an off-the-beaten-path accommodation, perfect for travelers looking for rest and relaxation, far away from the humdrum of crowds. Unplug and enjoy a digital detox in our tropical paradise. It’s an escape from the usual tourist destinations in Palawan, only 1 hour away from El Nido.
Marahuyo is not a hotel, but we do want to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Our staff will be there to help and ensure that you enjoy your stay as much as we, the owners, do whenever we spend time there. We've been spending our holidays in the area for many years now and have decided to share our experience with you.
Marahuyo is 1 hour away from El Nido, 30 minutes away from Taytay proper, and is saddled between the small fishing villages of Sader and Amugis. Family-owned retail stores (sari-sari stores) provide basic grocery items and seasonal tropical fruits, and fresh fish can be purchased from the locals.
